ARTitechture
These works use universal natural forms (flora) that have  been transformed into poetic objects through the use of ethereal shapes, radiant color, and architectonic structure. They evoke other realms, mystical or mythical possibilities beyond the mundane world.

Etherealithic
The art has been captured at high resolution to allow very large scale output. Below are possible expressions (mockups in various settings).

Large-scale wall works (exterior/interior):

Wall works, framed:

ARCHITECTURAL SETTINGS: Varous sizes: 12 x 9” (rooms prints) 54 x 72” (lobbies) or 120”+ (grand lobbies, facades)

EXTERIORS:
Walls: Film or vinyl output for use on glass windows/walls/ceilings/skylights, laminated onto glass, facemounted to acrylic
Freestanding: sculptures, wind breaks) — Laminated onto glass or acrylic layers, inset or clamped floor footing.

INTERIORS:
Walls: woven tapestry wall hangings, lightboxes, rugs…
Suspended: as semi translucent material (polysilk, mesh) hung from ceiling in layers with wires or armature.
Prints: lobby, per floor, in rooms, framed or on canvas…

ABOUT:

The works have a universal theme of nature, ephemerality and grandeur. The images (below) are two dimensional versions of 3D forms, with some parts in sharp focus, other parts having a dreamlike blur. The works are both painterly and photographic, and appear like full-spectrum cyanotypes or even colorful X-rays.

Created by hand (outdoors and in weather), the works have a warm, loose, joyful, or improvisational feel - they are more interesting and beautiful because of their imprecision or imperfections.  These works have a gestalt beauty but also reward closer looks and repeated viewings, with smaller details becoming apparent — the faint oultilne of an errant flower petal, textural changes, a tiny yellow paint drop, slightly smudged…

SCULPTURAL HANGINGS:
The suspended works can be printed on materials allowing light passage through the layers, giving the painterly work a sculptural depth, with colors that appear to blend and morph with as the viewer moves and as the ambient light changes. They also create a sense of movement as nearby layers perspectively interact with more distant ones. Finally the works are monolithic in scale but ethereal in feel, and can be ephemeral or permanent.
