BOOMHITECH ALITTLEBITWRECK
LYRIC STORY:
The lyric “boom high tech, a little bit wreck” is a phrase taken from the song Shanghai Masai by Shinjuku Zulu. The words reflect my approach to art — a mix of the digital and analog realms, a love for technology and the future, but also keeping the human and the hand-made, the funk in the machine.
The phrase, as "Boomhitech Alittlebitwreck” was also used as the two-word title for a hybrid album release, the cover of which continued the digital/handmade approach, featured an artwork made from hundreds of discrete units (basically, paper pixels) painted, cut and remixed by hand.
