Thousands of discrete slices of paper, each unique, hand-placed into a larger complex whole. The work shifts in appearance related to the viewer’s position in the room — from the front it appears monochromatic, but from an angle magentas, reds, yellows and other colors appear. Details become apparent over time, or with changing light. Wave sets, zen gardens, digital era are referents. (Custom commissions — bigger, smaller, color tone possible).
